Planned Outreaches 2010

HIM is planning outreaches and Bible Placements in partnership with B4B (Bibles for Believers) to several places 2010. During the extended June/July holidays (because of the World Cup Soccer) we will God-willing have outreaches in Zambia and in Tanzania. People attending joining us need to register early. The Tanzanian Outreach has limited capacity. HIM Outreaches will send you info and a DVD to help you raise the needed funding. New Partnerships

HIM has entered a partnership with Every Home for Christ Africa. EHCA has a wonderful new project to train pastors using their mobile training centres. HIM will help EHCA’s leaders in 11 countries establish Hubs and plant churches in a project called Hubs to Households. Pray that the Lord would use this project to plant thousands of new churches in Africa.

HIM Kenya August 2009. Johannes Auckamp, a friend of HIM, will be teaching the Hub Model at a seminary in Nairobi, Kenya for the next few weeks. It is possible that from this HIM will establish a work in Kenya. Pray that God would open doors, send the right leaders and make it possible for us to work in Kenya.	Rapid Growth of Bangula Hub During December 2008 a new Hub was established in Southern Malawi. The Bangula Hub quickly grew and by the time the outreach teams arrived in July 2009, 11 new churches had been planted. During the outreach a further 24 new churches were planted! This growth is a sign of the huge need among the people, the ripeness of the harvest and the success of the HIM Hub Church Planting Model ©.
HIM Malawi Herbie Venter continues to do great work in Malawi. Under his guidance HIM has appointed Harrison Chinyama as our full time coordinator to oversee the work in Malawi. Over 1,000 churches have been planted and every one of those churches received some Bibles this year. Read more...	HIM Mozambique July 2009. HIM ZambiaIn September 2009, 48 Hub Leaders from across Zambia will be meeting for training and vision casting... Hub Leaders will also be submitting their Bibles needs so that planned distribution can take place over the next 18 months with Bibles for Believers. Read more...	HIM Zimbabwe HIM is already looking at expanding the work in Zimbabwe. Several avenues of ministry are being investigated from which Hubs will be selected and churches planted. Together with Bibles for Believers’ Bibles-for-Zim project, many new potential ministry partners are coming forward. Pray for someone to head up this ministry.
Harvesters Bible School October 2009. Karen Venter has been appointed the new Principal of the HBS (Harvesters Bible School). We thank Hannes Enslin who has fulfilled this role for several years. Hannes no longer has the time to fulfil the obligations required of an expanding student base and ever changing curriculum. Welcome to Karen! Please pray for her as she takes up this vital post. HBS currently has over 2,000 registered students in various phases, with many students enrolling in 2010.
Bibles for BelieversB4B continues to deliver Bibles to born again believers who cannot afford to buy a Bible. Two worthwhile projects are the Sena Project and the Bibles-4-ZIM Project. Several churches have undertaken deliveries in partnership with Bibles for Believers. Your church can get involved in a similar way. Call André at +27 11 955-1814. Harvest Aid Harvest Aid is a Christian Relief Agency facilitating the delivery of aid to orphans and the needy in Africa. Harvest Aid provides food, help and other needed supplies to those in desperate need. This includes child/orphan and Child-led family sponsorship programs, feeding projects and disaster relief.
