Harrison went to Malawi as a missionary sent by the Vaalpark DRC in 1996. He was a Timothy Training Institute tutor for Malawi from 1998 and started his involvement with HIM in 2002 where he was trained as a Church planter and became regional leader for the Northern part of Malawi in 2004. He was appointed Acting Director for Malawi in 2007.

"My calling and the nature of my ministry is discipleship. I am involved in Church planting and leadership development (Pastoral Training). I mobilize, impart the vision and motivate different denominations to be vibrant in the great commission command."

Harrison networks with other ministries that have a similar vision for the extension and up building of God's kingdom.
